John attended Cal State Northridge University, and graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 1994. He serves as a Lieutenant in the Hermitage Volunteer Fire Department. John is also a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church in Hermitage, where he serves as an usher. He is an avid skier and runner and serves as a member of the Chamber of Commerce. |
| John married his grade school sweetheart, Jennifer, in 1992. Jennifer is also a member of the Notre Dame Catholic Church, as well as the Quota Club where she helps to raise money for the hearing impaired. John and Jennifer have two children, Patrick 3 years, and Jessica, 11 months. |  son Patrick and baby Jessica |
